had explored computer animation and computer graphics, being intrigued
by the possibilities of this form of art. Its remoteness through the
absence of a direct contact with the material to produce the artwork
represented a totally different creative process. The approach was part
artistry, part engineering. Guiding the software's "camera", each scene
had to be meticulously built in 3d space through the computer program.
Manipulating the camera in that space allowed for many exciting possibilities,
eliminating, in the process, the barriers of reality to soar to new
images. |
